PAOK achieved a dramatic victory, prevailing as a guest over Olympiacos in Renti with 3:2 (22-25, 21-25, 25-22, 37-35, 10-15) in 144 minutes in a match from the 17th round of the championship.
The guests started better, took the first two sets (25:22, 25:21) and seemed confident towards a clean win. Olympiacos, however, reduced the deficit after 25:22 in the third set, and in the fourth offered true drama - 37:35. In the tie-break, PAOK showed character and closed the match with 15:10.
