Belgium and China, whose coach is Belgian Vital Heynen, will fight for gold in the final edition of the Men's Volleyball Challenger Cup on Sunday.
The winner gets a ticket to next year's Volleyball Nations League. In Saturday's semifinal at the Linyi Olympic Sports Park, the European team made a great comeback after being down 0:2 sets against Ukraine. Ferre Reggers contributed the most to the victory with 31 points. In the other semifinal, hosts China secured a clean 3:0 victory over Egypt in front of seven thousand five hundred fans.
Belgium had never played in the Volleyball Challenger Cup before but managed to reach the final in its debut in the competition.
