Sebastian Swiderski, President of the Polish Volleyball Federation, stated that his organization has received an offer to host the Men's Champions League 'Final Four' tournament. Three Polish clubs – 'Warsaw,' 'Zawiercie,' and 'Jastrzębski' – qualified for the tournament's playoffs. There is a high probability that two or three of them will reach the 'Final Four,' which will take place on May 17–18. For this reason, the Poles are interested in hosting the tournament, but they are not satisfied with the financial conditions. The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) is asking for 2 million euros for the right to host the final tournament.

"We received an initial inquiry in November. We asked under what conditions we could get the tournament, but we received a response less than two weeks ago. By that time, many companies and institutions had already closed their budgets. There are many large halls in Poland that are available in May – in Lodz, Gliwice, Katowice, and Krakow. But we are unable to meet the requirements imposed on us by CEV. Under no circumstances will we agree to the conditions they proposed," Swiderski said in an interview with Onet Sports Review.
He added that the Polish Volleyball Federation had considered partnering with local sponsors and state institutions to secure funding for hosting. However, the short deadlines and the high cost of organization made it impossible to accept the offer under the current conditions. Swiderski also expressed disappointment with the lack of transparency and communication from CEV, emphasizing that in the future it would be better to have more time for preparation and financial planning.
Last week, the CEV announced that the Women's 'Final Four' would be held on May 3–4 in Istanbul.
