Fenerbahçe Medicana women's volleyball team recorded another convincing victory in the Vodafone Sultans League, winning 3-0 (21-25, 23-25, 22-25) against Aras Kargo in a match from the 21st round.
The team continues to lead the standings with 18 wins, thanks to the exceptional performances of Melissa Vargas (14 points) and Ana Cristina (11 points). No less important, however, was the contribution of Kristina Vučkova, who scored 8 points, 5 of which were blocks (!) and 30% in attack.
The team started strong in the first set, taking a 25-21 lead thanks to the excellent play of Ana Cristina and Vargas. The second set was very competitive, but Fenerbahçe managed to win 25-23. In the third set, Fenerbahçe showed its class and won 25-22, leaving no chance for the opponent.
Elitsa Vasileva also entered the court in the second set but failed to add points.
With this success, Fenerbahçe Medicana continues to dominate the league and prove the strength of its squad. In the next round, the team will host Zeren Spor, looking for another victory in the league.
