Neftochimik defeated Dea cleanly, Pirin eighth after 3-0 over Dunav, Levski with 16th success

No derby took place in Burgas, as Neftochimic achieved a convincing 3:0 (25:22, 28:26, 25:22) victory over their city rival Dea Sport in a match from the sixth round of the National Volleyball League for men. With this success, Neftochimic solidified their second place in the standings with 35 points, while Dea Sport occupies seventh position.
The first game was the most closely contested, with the score being tied twice at the end of the set (23:23, 24:24), but the more skilled Neftochimic team managed to close it out with successful attacks by Krustev and Truhchev.

The match was historic for the Bratoev brothers, who faced each other for the first time in the Bulgarian championship. Valentin Bratoev played as opposite due to Laminets' absence.
The top scorers for the winners were Aksel Truhchev and Rozalin Penchev with 14 points each, while for Dea Sport, Jonatas Cardoso scored 16 points. Truhchev was named MVP of the match.

Levski achieved their 16th victory for the season after defeating Dobrudzha 07 with a 3:0 (25:18, 25:17, 25:21) away win. With this success, the "Blues" increased their lead to 14 points over Neftochimic.
In the match against Dobrudzha, Levski dominated, winning the first set with 25:18. In the second set, the hosts managed to maintain a tie until 12:12, but the "Blues" imposed their game and closed the set with 25:17. In the third set, Levski earned six match points and converted the fourth for a final 25:21.
The starting setter Stoil Palev and outside hitter Todor Skrimov did not appear in the game. Captain Svetoslav Gotsev, who is recovering from an injury, was not in the squad for the match.

Viktor Zekov replaced Palev and, in addition to performing his duties as a playmaker, recorded 3 points from blocks.
The top scorer was opposite Venislav Antov with 16 points (1 ace, 1 block). Outside hitter Vladimir Gurkov added 14 points (2 aces, 1 block).
Pirin (Razlog) climbed to eighth place in the standings after a 3:0 (25:20, 25:19, 25:22) victory over second-to-last Dunav (Ruse). Alex Nikolov scored 23 points for Dunav, while Mariyan Nakov recorded 19 for Pirin.
