At least one "Bulgarian" team in the final for the Romanian Women's Cup

Bulgarian volleyball players continue to demonstrate a strong presence in the Romanian Cup, with several of them playing key roles in the quarter-final matches. Three "Bulgarian" teams have already secured a place in the semi-finals, which will surely lead at least one of them to the final.

Volei Alba Blaj with Monika Krasteva in the semi-finals

National team player Monika Krasteva and her team Volei Alba Blaj qualified for the semi-finals of the Romanian Cup after decisively defeating Corona Brașov with a 3:0 (25:18, 25:15, 25:19) victory. Krasteva contributed 11 points to the success, while her teammate Drussila Costa was the top scorer with 14 points. For Corona Brașov, Alexandra Milanova stood out with 15 points, but her efforts were not enough to overcome the opponent.

Voluntari of Mira Todorova eliminated Dinamo Bucharest

In another quarter-final clash, Voluntari, featuring Mira Todorova, achieved a 3:0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:19) victory over Dinamo Bucharest. Despite the loss, Gergana Kyoseva from Dinamo was the top scorer in the match with 16 points, while Todorova finished with 3 points for the winners.

Rapid Bucharest with Lora Kitipova also in the semi-finals

Rapid Bucharest, led by setter Lora Kitipova, qualified for the semi-finals after a convincing away victory over Cluj with a 3:0 (25:16, 25:15, 25:15) score.
