The 37-year-old former Polish international will serve as assistant coach. For some time it was speculated that Zbigniew Bartman would take on one of the roles in the vice-champions' team. It wasn't long before these reports were confirmed. The club from Łódź announced that the long-standing volleyball player has joined the coaching staff. In the decisive phase of the season, he will act as a sports coordinator. However, this is not the only challenge he is setting for himself in the upcoming period. Bartman will also be assistant to head coach Alessandro Chiappini. The former attacker for the Polish national team has never before worked in a coaching position. So far, after ending his playing career, he has only tried his hand as a volleyball expert on television. We recall that the 37-year-old player recently returned to the court as a player, because he decided to support his former club in a competition. Thus, the former Polish international participated in a match for second-division club KS Metro Family Warsaw.
