Kristian Titriyski was named "Best Forward of the Week"

Kristian Titriyski was named "Big West Player of the Week" in the Big West Conference after impressive performances against No. 9 Stanford last week. This is the Levski youth product's first "Big West Player of the Week" honor, after previously being named "Freshman of the Week".

The opposite hitter averaged 4.00 kills and 4.78 points per set against the Cardinal, tallying 36 total kills in the series with an overall hitting percentage of .368. In last Wednesday's five-set victory, Titriyski recorded a team-high 15 kills, along with five digs, two blocks, and one ace. He followed up with a career-high 21 kills in Friday's four-set loss, hitting .472, with six digs, four blocks, and two aces.

Titriyski is currently fourth in the conference and seventh nationally in points per set (4.86 average), while his 0.611 aces per set average is sixth in the country and fifth in the league.

The "Player of the Week" award is the second for a Rainbow Warriors player this season, after Adrian Rue received the honor in UH's three-set victory over McKendree earlier in the season.
