The Slovenian Volleyball Federation officially announced the appointment of Fabio Soli as the new coach of the men's national team. The 45-year-old Italian specialist signed a two-year contract, with an option for an extension of another two years.
Soli, a native of Modena, succeeds Gheorghe Crețu, who took over the Serbian national team. The Italian coach has rich experience, having worked in club volleyball in Italy in recent years. He is currently the coach of Trento.

Upcoming Challenges for Slovenia
The Slovenian national team is expecting a busy year, full of important competitions:
✅ VNL (Volleyball Nations League) – Slovenia starts with participation in a tournament in Rio de Janeiro (June 11-15) against Cuba, USA, Brazil, Iran, and Ukraine.
✅ Tournament in Burgas, Bulgaria – The Slovenians will compete against Bulgaria, France, Japan, Turkey, and Ukraine.
✅ VNL tournament in Ljubljana (July 16-22) – Here they will face world champions Italy, Serbia, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Canada.
✅ World Championship in the Philippines (September) – The culmination of the season, where Slovenia will try to solidify its position among the world elite.
