The match will be remembered for Apostolos Armenakis, who played against his former team from Thessaloniki just 10 days after his transfer to Olympiacos. It is worth noting that in the first round, Pegasus defeated Olympiacos 3:1, and Armenakis was the MVP then.
Remarkable is the return of Boyan Yordanov to the "Melina Merkouri" hall, where Olympiacos has honored him for his contributions to the Piraeus team, with which the former national player has become a champion and a three-time bronze medalist.
