Neftochimic won a difficult victory over Dunav in Francesco Cadeddu's debut

Neftochimic suffered a 3:2 (18:25, 25:13, 25:22, 15:25, 16:14) victory during their away match against Dunav Ruse. The match, which was the first under Francesco Cadedu's leadership, was characterized by fluctuations, with both home and away teams alternating strong and weak plays in individual sets, ultimately requiring a tie-break to decide the winner. It started perfectly for Neftochimic, who were the first to reach the eighth point with a comfortable 5-point lead. This advantage was erased by the inspired hosts, who equalized at 12:12. Dunav even took the lead after an ace by Rozalin Penchev, but Krastev restored parity. The first match point for Burgas came after an attacking error by the hosts, who managed to level the score again (14:14) after Yankov's attack through the middle. Ragin gave Neftochimic a second match point, which was converted after an attack by Rozalin Penchev.

David Krastev was the top scorer, achieving 20 points (2 aces, 1 block) and 57% attack efficiency. Rozalin Penchev added another 16 points (2 aces, 1 block) and 65% attack efficiency. For the hosts, Vitaliy Kucher finished with 13 points, and Alex Nikolov with 12 points, which proved insufficient for anything more than a single point in the standings, where Dunav are second to last. Neftochimic captain Axel Truhtchev did not participate in the match.
Volleyball players from "Lokomotiv Avia" recorded their fourth consecutive victory in the efbet Super Volley championship. Nayden Naydenov's boys celebrated a 3:0 win in sets during their away game against "Dobrudzha 07".

There was some intrigue only in the first set, which went point-for-point from the middle, but in the end, class prevailed for 25-23. In the next two sets, the Plovdiv team completely dictated the game and closed them easily with 11 and 14 points.

Dmytro Dolgopolov was named MVP of the match.
