Setter Borislav Nikolov and his team GreenPlan-Vegyész RC Kazincbarcika defeated Kecskeméti RC in the semifinals of the Hungarian Cup, thus securing a spot in the tournament finals in March. Nikolov entered the game several times to increase the attack percentage for the hosts.

This is the second consecutive final for the Hungarian team, who played for the cup in 2024. The final will also be held at DVTK Arena in Miskolc, on March 8th at 17:00, where Nikolov and company will face MÁV Forward Foxconn, who participated in European tournaments during the 2023/24 season and were also the national cup holders during that period.
During the 2020/21 season, Ivan Mihal, who played for CSKA, also passed through Nikolov's team, according to informed sources.
