Denis Karyagin, who was injured after falling following a block against his national teammate Martin Atanasov last week, entered briefly at the very end of the third set of today's Fenerbahçe match but did not score any points. Karyagin was brought in on the front row to improve the block's level in place of Polish setter Fabian Drzyzga during a match point for the hosts (Karyagin was injured in exactly the same substitution in the match against Galatasaray).
Earvin N'Gapeth and company had no problem at home against Georgi Seganov's Alanya and won 3-0 (25:17, 25:17, 25:23). Yiğit Gülmezoğlu of the hosts was the top scorer with 12 points, N'Gapeth finished with 8 points for the win.The former setter of the national team scored 2 points, both from blocks.
Fenerbahce dealt with Seganov's Alanya, the injured Karyagin came on at the end
