The official announcement will only come in the summer, but it is already certain that in the 2025-2026 season, Hristina Vuchkova will play in the Russian Super League with the Proton Saratov team. The team is currently in the middle of the championship table (9th place) with only 9 wins from 21 matches. For the Bulgarian middle blocker, who currently plays for Fenerbahçe, this is another chapter in her cosmopolitan career: started in Sofia with CSKA and Levski, she continued in Italy, Azerbaijan, Turkey, China, USA and, from next year, Russia, not forgetting the numerous international tournaments in which she participated with the Bulgarian team.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe is already looking for a new foreign middle blocker to include in their squad for the 2025-2026 season. In recent weeks, there was talk of an attempt to attract Maja Aleksić, but in the end, the Serbian middle blocker of Igor Gorgonzola Novara signed with Zeren Spor Ankara, where she will play under the guidance of coach Stevan Ljubičić and alongside the confirmed Ofelia Malinova, who has Bulgarian roots, Brankica Mihajlović and Aleksandra Uzelac.
