Ivan Stanev is no longer the head coach of Neftochimik.

Ivan Stanev is no longer the head coach of Neftochimic, as revealed by his post on social media:
"Sometimes life presents us with difficult decisions. Today is one of those moments for which you are never fully prepared - the moment to part ways with a team that, if for someVC Neftochimic Burgasis just an employer, for me it is my second family! It wasn't easy to make this decision, but I believe that sometimes you have to take a step back to gather momentum!

Thank you to each and every one of you - players, colleagues, and fans - for your dedication, trust, and unforgettable moments. Together we overcame challenges, celebrated victories, and faced difficulties that made us stronger.

For me, volleyball has always been more than a profession - a mission, a way of life. Coaching is not just a job - it is a calling. And although our paths diverge today, I believe that everything we have built together will continue to bear fruit. You are a strong team with immense potential, and I know that the best is yet to come.

This parting is not a goodbye, but a 'until we meet again'. I am opening a new door, with the belief that sometimes changes are necessary to reach even greater heights. But whatever lies ahead for me, a part of my heart will always remain with you.

Thank you for everything and "Only Nafta," wrote the legendary setter of Neftochimic in his post, who took over the position after the surprising termination of Martin Stoev's contract.
His replacement is expected to be announced within hours - most likely Francesco Cadedu.
