CSKA moved within one point of Levski in the women's Demax League volleyball standings after winning 3:0 (25:13, 25:14, 25:8) at home against Slavia in a match from the 12th round of the Demax League. The "Reds" are third and are now tied with the "Blues" in wins - ten each. The victory serves as preparation for the derby against Levski. The clash with the "Blues" will take place on February 9 at 5:00 PM in "Vasil Simov" hall.
CSKA won the last game most decisively. The "Reds" took a 15:7 lead and made two long runs to 25, interrupted by only one point won by the "Whites". Slavia is in fifth place in the Demax League.
Earlier, TSKK climbed to fourth place in the standings after winning 3:0 (25:17, 25:17, 25:14) against Varna DKS. With the three-set victory, the team from the capital took all three points and is now in fourth place, two points ahead of Slavia.
TSKK took the first two sets with 17 points, and in the third, they made a series of five consecutive points and pulled away at 14:6. From that moment on, the set was easy for the team from the capital, and they closed it at 25:14.
Dragoman is four points behind Slavia in sixth place after a 3:0 (25:14, 25:22, 25:18) victory over Perun 1. The team from Varna is second to last with three points, two more than DKS.
