Titriyski above all with 27 points in a winning thriller in Hawaii

Levski champion Kristiyan Titriyski became the top scorer for Hawaii in their 3:2 (20:25, 25:22, 23:25, 25:16, 22:20) away victory against Brigham Young University after a thriller, as seen from the result, in the US college championship.

The 19-year-old opposite hitter finished with 27 points (3 aces, 4 blocks) in his team's 7th match of the season. It was Titriyski who scored the decisive point in the tie-break on the 8th match point.

This is his second-best achievement after 28 points against Harvard (also 3:2).
The Rainbow Warriors (7-0 wins) saved six match points in the marathon fifth set, in which the Cougars led 8:4 at the change of courts. In the final set, Kristiyan Titriyski made seven of his 20 attacking points, which were the most for the team, including three that erased match points. His final spike ended the match and silenced the sold-out crowd of over 5000 people.
Hawaii also won from serves with 10 aces compared to two for the Cougars.
