Ivan Stanev hinted at leaving: I'm tired of the responsibility being solely mine, I need a break

"I'm tired of the responsibility being solely mine, I need a little rest" - this was said by the head coach of VC Neftochimik 2010 Ivan Stanev after the 0:3 loss to CSKA in Sofia in the 14th round of the Bulgarian championship.
"There are two things a competitor should do, and that is to play for what's written on your chest and for what's written on your back. When you don't care about either, it's a problem. These are experienced competitors. When you don't care what's written on your chest and you're on this team just for the year to pass, it can't happen. Whatever we talk about, it doesn't matter. Some of them are mistaken. Yes, the year will pass, no matter what place we are in, they will leave here - but to leave something behind," Stanev told the MAX SPORT 2 camera.
"I'm tired of the responsibility being solely mine. Maybe there will be a reaction. After the match with Cherno More, the president stopped me, but now there will most likely be some change", continued the club's icon.
"The responsibility is primarily the coach's. But these are the highest-paid competitors in Bulgaria. If they play against me, it's not a problem. When a team loses, the responsibility is primarily the coach's. But I inherited this team, these guys are not my choice.Whoever comes, however, these are the people.I need a little rest," said the two-time champion of Bulgaria with VC Neftochimik 2010 and current chairman of the permanent commission for youth and sports at the Municipal Council in Burgas.
Thus, the version launched by volleyweek.bg that Neftochimik will soon have a new coach in the person of Francesco Cadeddu is starting to take on real outlines.
