CSKA recorded their seventh victory after defeating away team Neftochimic 3:0 (25:23, 25:23, 25:22) in the round's derby. The match was played in 'Hristo Botev' hall, as 'the Reds' are serving a penalty of 'deprivation of home advantage'.
In the first game, the match went point for point until 6:6, after which CSKA took the initiative and did not relinquish it until the end, taking the first set after overcoming the turning point when the visitors managed to equalize (23:23).
The second set started with a similar scenario, as 'the Reds' pressed the pedal and brought the difference to 18:11. An unexpected collapse followed for Sasho Popov's boys, as the Burgas team managed to bring things to 19:19. Despite the shock, 'the Army men' managed to concentrate and secured a victory in the set with the same score, to lead 2:0.
The third set was tighter until the middle, when the scoreboard showed 14:14, after which, following the familiar scenario, the hosts pressed with serve and block to forge the valuable victory against the unrecognizable and sluggish Neftochimic.

Again, Strahinja Brzaković was above all with 17 points (1 ace), followed by Hristiyan Velikov -13 (1 ace). In total, 'the Reds' scored 9 aces, against only 2 for the Burgas team. Reception was also very stable - 65% positive and 24% perfect. For Neftochimic, these indicators are 44/12.
'Naftata' captain Aksel Truhchev scored 15 points (1 ace, 4 blocks). Krastev and Penchev added 11 and 12 points, but even they were not enough for victory.
Neftochimic continues to hold onto second place, with Beroe breathing down their neck with the same win/loss record (9:5), but with one point less.
Beroe (Stara Zagora) maintained their third place in the standings with a complete comeback and a 3:2 (21:25, 23:25, 25:17, 25:20, 15:8) victory against Hebar (Pazardzhik). The Stara Zagora team won seven rallies in a series of eight in the tie-break and reached the success, which left them one point behind Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas).

Rusi Zhelev scored 19 points for Beroe, but the top scorer in the match was Martin Mechkarov with 20 points for Hebar.
Montana won 3:0 (25:14, 25:19, 25:18) against Dobrudzha 07 and climbed to fourth place, two points behind Beroe. The top scorer for the winners was the league's best scorer Vasily Molotkov with 15 points, and his teammate Kristiyan Aleksov added 13 with four aces.
