Italy vs. Brazil on the first day of the men's Olympic volleyball tournament in Paris

The schedule for all matches of the Olympics in the French capital has been officially announced.
Japan and Germany will open the volleyball tournament in Paris.
The opening match of the Paris 2024 Games will pit silver medalists from the Volleyball Nations League, Japan, against the sensation of last year's Olympic qualifying tournament, Germany. Three-time Olympic champion Brazil will face Italy again on July 27 at 1:00 PM local time. We remind you that "Seleção" defeated "Squadra Azzurra" in the Olympic finals in Athens 2004 and Rio 2016. World number one Poland will also play on July 27, facing current African champions Egypt at 5:00 PM local time in Group B. The first day of the competition will conclude with the Group C match between three-time Olympic champions USA and Tokyo bronze medalists Argentina at 9:00 PM local time. Defending champions France will play in front of their fans for the first time on July 28, when they face Serbia at 5:00 PM local time in Group A. On the same day, Olympic debutant Slovenia will play its first match of the tournament against Canada at 9:00 PM local time in Group A. The 2024 Paris Olympic volleyball tournament will be held in a new format, with the preliminary phase consisting of three groups of four teams. The group winners, their runners-up, as well as the two best-ranked third-place teams, will qualify for the quarterfinals.
