Another exciting group stage of the most prestigious European club tournament - CEV Champions League Volley 2025 Men - concluded yesterday.
A total of 10 spectacular matches entertained volleyball fans across Europe, who eagerly awaited to find out which teams would advance to the next phases of the competition.
Polish and Italian teams did not disappoint, as they qualified directly for the quarterfinals.
With the final standings from the group stage, it is now clear which teams continue their path to the trophy. According to the current tournament format, all group winners qualify directly for the quarterfinals.
PGE Projekt WARSZAWA (first in Group A), Mint Vero Volley MONZA (first in Group B), Aluron CMC Warta ZAWIERCIE (first in Group C), Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA (first in Group D) and last year's silver medalist JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel (first in Group E) will prepare for the quarterfinals, skipping the playoff phase.
The three Polish teams will face teams coming from the playoffs, while the fourth and fifth in the ranking of group winners -Mint Vero Volley MONZA and Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA - will meet each other in the quarterfinals.
BERLIN Recycling Volleys (second in Group A), Olympiacos PIRAEUS (second in Group B), Allianz MILANO (second in Group C), Halkbank ANKARA (second in Group D) and SVG LÜNEBURG (second in Group E) also kept their chances of advancing alive, qualifying for the playoffs.
Tournament debutants - the French team SAINT-NAZAIRE VB Atlantique - will also play in the playoff phase as the best third-placed team.
The intrigue in the playoffs will be even greater, as it will includea German derby between BR Volleys and SVG Lüneburg.The final day of the group stage was marked by high-class volleyball, as all teams knew that every set mattered.
Group A
PGE Projekt WARSZAWA did their job well against BERLIN Recycling Volleys, winning 3-1. ACH Volley LJUBLJANA concluded their participation in the 2025 edition on a positive note, winning 3-0 against Greenyard MAASEIK, which allows them to continue in other European tournaments.
Group B
Mint Vero Volley MONZA defeated Helios Grizzlys GIESEN with a score of 3-1.
In the other match of the group,in the Balkan derby of the day, Fenerbahçe Medicana ISTANBUL of Denis Karyagin and Ngapeth and Olympiacos PIRAEUS offered a great five-set spectacle, won by the Greeks, led by Bulgarian son-in-law Atanasijevic.
Group C
Knack Roeselare achieved a three-set victory against Hypo Tirol Innsbruck, which allows them to advance in #CEVCupM. Aluron CMC Warta ZAWIERCIE decisively defeated Allianz Milano and Matey Kaziyski with a score of 3-0.

Group D
Three teams advanced from Group D, meaning the battle on the court in this group was extremely competitive.
Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA and HalkbanK Ankara, with their new acquisition Leal from Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, clashed in a five-set match won by the Turks, with both teams advancing.Halkbank Ankara will face Matey Kaziyski in the playoff.And the winner will meet PGE Projekt WARSZAWA in the 1/4 finals.

French team Saint-Nazaire VB Atlantique prevailed 3-0 over Jihostroj ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE and qualified for the first time in their history for the playoffs, where they will face Aleksandar Atanasijevic and company. The winner will go against Jastrzebski Wegiel in the 1/4 finals.
Group E
CHAUMONT VB 52 and Levski Sofia had a direct clash for a spot in the European tournaments. The French proved to be better, winning 3-0, taking sweet revenge against the Bulgarians for the 2-3 loss in Bulgaria earlier in the competition.
2024 silver medalists Jastrzebski Wegiel decisively defeated SVG Lüneburg 3-0.
