Levski's volleyball players failed to achieve the much-needed success against Silvano Prandi's Chaumont and were eliminated from participating in the European tournaments. Nikolay Zhelyazkov's boys lost their away game in France with a score of 0:3 (25:27, 17:25, 26:24), after needing a 3:0 or 3:1 victory to qualify for the second strongest CEV Cup tournament.

Levski gave away one set due to service errors (24 against 17 for the opponent), the attack was not effective, and Veni Antov had an off day, even though he finished as the top scorer in the match with 12 points (1 ace, 2 blocks). There was a fight in the first and third sets, where we squandered a set point. Captain Svetoslav Gotsev was unable to fully participate after an absence due to injury, and Nikolaev finished the match.
Chaumont also sought a 3:0 or 3:1 victory to keep their realistic chances of finishing second in the group and qualifying for the Champions League playoffs. This will become clear after the last group match between Jastrzębski and German Lüneburg is played.
