Before the important match, Radostin Stoychev and Rok Mozic shared their impressions of the upcoming challenge.

"For us, it's a historic event to participate in the Italian Cup Final Four," Stoychev stated, emphasizing the significance of the achievement, reached thanks to a successful first part of the season and the victory against Piacenza in the quarterfinals. "Perugia is the strongest team in recent years; they are excellent in the fundamental elements of serve and reception, it will be difficult to trouble them. We need to prepare as well as possible to take advantage of every opportunity." Reviewing the path that led Verona here, the coach spoke about the team's development and the challenges overcome. "I feel like a young coach at my first Final Four. This is the first time Verona has achieved this result, and we want to experience it to the fullest", he added. Stoychev also analyzed the latest victory against Modena, emphasizing the need to maintain high concentration. "We managed the match well, limiting errors and taking advantage of opportunities. However, the quality of the previous performance should not make us lose our vigilance. We must continue to work diligently and consistently." Regarding tactical decisions, he explained some key moves during the match, such as the inclusion of Gutierrez and the decision to entrust the last serve to Spirito. "Often, decisions come from careful study, but not everything always goes according to plan. The important thing is to have a strategy and be able to adapt it," the coach explained.

Rok Mozic also expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to play in such an important competition. "We need to be good at withstanding difficult moments and playing with determination until the end," he stated. Mozic also spoke about his personal development and that of the team. "At first, you only think about points, but with time you understand how important defense and support are. The important thing is to win, no matter who scores," he added. Finally, Mozic commented on the contract renewal of Noumory Keita, who will remain in Verona until 2027. "I am very happy, the project is growing and we with it. This is additional motivation to achieve great goals together," he concluded.
