The Bulgarian volleyball players outperformed their German counterparts with a 3:0 game win in the Greek city of Heraklion.
The Bulgarian national girls' volleyball team up to 18 years old started the European Championship, which is held in Romania and Greece, with a 3:0 game win (25:23, 25:19, 25:23) over Germany. The match lasted 82 minutes, with Germany's Leilanin Skalakanin being the top scorer with 13 points. For Bulgaria, Denitsa Angelova scored the most points - 11 (including 3 aces), Darina Naneva added 9 more (including 2 aces), and Nikol Okoro contributed 7. Our team made a total of 8 aces, against 6 for Germany. There were a total of 5 block points for the Bulgarians, while the Germans did not have any.

The young "lionesses" are in Group B of EuroVolley 2024 U18, which is in the Greek city of Heraklion. The volleyball players of coach Antonina Zetova will play their second match of the group tomorrow against the team of Turkey. The match starts at 5:30 PM.
