The head coach of the Italian men's U22 national team, Vincenzo Fanizza, announced the group of 16 players for the European Championship in Albufeira (Portugal), which will take place from June 29 to July 4.
The final stage of the 'Squadra Azzurra's' preparation will take place between June 23 and 26 at the 'Giulio Onesti' Olympic Preparation Center in Rome.
Italy will begin its participation in the European Championship with a match against Bulgaria. The meeting is scheduled for June 29 at 12:00 local time (14:00 Bulgarian time) in Albufeira.
The match between Bulgaria and Italy will open the program for both teams in the competition and immediately pits two of the main contenders for the top spots against each other.
