The national team for men under 19 years old held a two-day first micro-camp for the year.men under 19 years old.The new staff gathered a group of 19 athletes in the capital's "Hristo Botev" hall and held several introductory trainings. The coachMiroslav Zhivkovcalled up younger volleyball players, with the main goal being to check their development and condition.

"I have called up younger athletes. I know them very well as players. My goal is to see their development, technique, and skills at the moment. We have a lot of work to do. My desire is to form a large group of people who are constantly available. To keep in touch with them, with their clubs and coaches, we as staff should be aware of the players' condition, and they should be ready to join in,"Zhivkov stated to the BFV website.

Nikola Dimitrov and Dragan Ivanov joined Zhivkov's staff as assistants. Viden Neshev is the conditioning coach, Kaloyan Stavrev is the physiotherapist, and Kaloyan Gospodinov is the statistician.
Earlier this month, Zhivkov, who won silver medals at last year's U20 Men's European Championship, held a working meeting with men's head coach Gianlorenzo Blenginiand the coach of the U21 men's team - Ventsislav Simeonov. As announced earlier, this summer our three men's teams will prepare in one place - Samokov.
"We had a fruitful working meeting in which we clarified some characteristics and working methods that we will implement. Each team will have its individuality, but we will have a common goal and criteria. It is certainly a plus that we will be concentrated in one place, this will give us the opportunity to play bilateral games among ourselves when necessary. We will also have a forward focus, which is good for the development of Bulgarian volleyball. I personally see only positives,said Zhivkov.
In 2025, the U19 national team will participate in theWorld Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.Our team is in Group B along with France, Canada, Algeria, China, and Japan. The competition will take place between July 24 and August 3.
