Lubbe defeated champion Perugia, Alex Nikolov did not play

Lube remains undefeated at home after defeating champions Perugia 3-1 (23:25, 29:25, 25:22, 25:16) in a match played in the packed Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova (4,171 spectators). Mattia Bottolo was the top scorer in the match, finishing with 20 points (3 blocks, 2 aces) and deservedly becoming the MVP of the match.

His teammates Lagumdžija, Loeppky, and Chinenyeze added 18, 14, and 10 points respectively for the valuable victory. For the visitors, who lost their second consecutive match after a 2:3 against Trento, Jesus Herrera finished with the most points - 19, while Ishikawa and Semeniuk added 12 and 10 points respectively.
