Bulgarian volleyball - time for revival?
The Bulgarian national team has always been a dangerous opponent. Although not among world powers like Brazil, Italy, or Serbia, the team has often provided surprises and challenged even the strongest opponents.
But the last significant successes remained in the past. In2009, Bulgaria won bronze medals at the European Championship, and three years earlier -bronze at the World Championship. Since then, the team has been in decline, finishing15th in the Nations League and at the last European Championship (2023). At the2022 World Championship, the team finished 20th.
But there is hope! And it comes from young stars who are increasingly shining on the international stage.
