Radostin Stoychev remains coach of Verona, he gave a press conference before the match with Modena

Rana Verona continues its season with an away match on Sunday evening at PalaPanini in Modena against Valsa Group in a match from the sixth round of the second phase of the regular season. Two days before the match, head coach Stoychev spoke at a press conference about the upcoming game.
Here's what he shared: "With Modena, statistically, we are very close in terms of percentage indicators in everything: on serve they are better, on reception and in attack we are practically equal, on block we are slightly better, as well as in defense, they have higher percentages in rallies after their own serve, we - in counterattack. So the level of the two teams is very close. Modena has players with a little more experience and in my opinion they have been playing better than us lately. Recently, first due to Donovan's absence and second, because we haven't been able to train well enough, our game system is not perfect, so we expect a difficult match against a strong opponent.

During the press conference, the coach was asked about what happened in Civitanova. Here is his statement: "On this topic, I renew my apologies for my improper behavior and have nothing else to add to what I already stated last week." The club adheres to the note sent last week and the coach's statements. The owners, management, and coach are determined to pursue the set sporting goals together. This practically means that, at least for now, the clouds over Radostin Stoychev's head, after the massive scandal involving the strangulation of a Lube fan, are clearing.
