The Bulgarian national girls' volleyball team under 16 years of age won their third match in the European qualifiers, held in the 'Hristo Botev' hall in the capital. The Bulgarian team defeated Greece 3:0 (25:18, 25:15, 25:20), and thus the selection, led by Vladislav Todorov, continues their participation in the tournament without a single loss.

The team's goal is to secure a place among the participants in the European Championship in Tirana and Pristina (July 2-13). The match against Greece was also attended by the coach of the Bulgarian men's national team, Gianlorenzo Blengini.
In their fourth qualifying match, the Bulgarian team will face Serbia on Saturday, January 18, at 5:30 PM. The daily ticket costs 10 leva and can be purchased at the box office of the 'Hristo Botev' hall.

On the other pole, the Bulgarian national boys' volleyball team under 16 years of age dramatically lost their third match in the European qualifiers in Alanya, Turkey. The national team fell to Greece 2:3 (27:25, 25:22, 21:25, 28:30, 17:19) after leading by 2:0 sets and missing four consecutive match points. In the fourth set, the Bulgarian team also had a match point to conclude the game.
In the first two matches, Bulgaria defeated the teams of Romania and Serbia, and tomorrow the national team, led by Svetozar Ivanov, has a rest day. On Sunday at 5:00 PM is their last match against Turkey.
