FC Treia will receive funding from Lube Civitanova's general sponsor.
Civitanova - Lube enters the football world. It will do so with a project aimed at stabilizing Treia and uniting local football figures in the city where Lube Group, a kitchen equipment and furniture company, is headquartered. The news comes from the authoritative volleyball websitevolleyball.it.
The company's senior management stated that Lube will not be a sponsor, but an active part of the project. Could this step make volleyball fans in Civitanova worry about the team's future?
On the matter, Lube Group CEO, Fabio Giulianelli, stated: "In volleyball, we follow and value the line of rejuvenation, and if we can be protagonists, it would be nothing extraordinary if we produce a player to sell for a huge sum."
The Italian adds: "We have 34 years of volleyball behind us; today it is played by 10 boys who compete for salaries. Without these players, it is not easy to compete, and we embrace a youth policy."
"We have given a lot of money to this sport," Giulianelli emphasizes, "and it has given us great recognition, but we will not waste money on huge contracts that exceed ethical limits and, moreover, do not guarantee victories and profits."
Some time ago, Lube Group was a protagonist in Macerata, and now in Civitanova. "With this football project, which also includes other disciplines, we want to be the main actors in Treia, in our home. We want to do something great and memorable for our city," Giulianelli concluded.
