Nasya Dimitrova heads to the USA after Japan, will play in League One Volleyball

Former national team player Nasya Dimitrova will continue her career in the United States, after being introduced as one of the new additions to the professional league League One Volleyball (LOVB).
The American organization announced the middle blocker among the new players for its third season, but for now has not revealed which team the Bulgarian will be assigned to.
Dimitrova played the 2025/2026 season in the Japanese elite, where she wore the jersey of Gunma Green Wings. Now the Bulgarian volleyball player will join the LOVB project, which is attracting more and more international stars.
Nasya will not be the only Bulgarian in the American championship. Since last season, national team player Miroslava Paskova has also been part of League One Volleyball. The outside hitter was initially announced among the league's international additions, and subsequently became part of the LOVB Atlanta squad, for which she has already played official matches.
In this way, Bulgaria will have at least two representatives in one of the most ambitious volleyball initiatives in the world. League One Volleyball launched its professional championship in 2025 with six teams and continues to expand its presence in the market by attracting players from leading national teams and the strongest club championships.
For 32-year-old Dimitrova, this will be another challenge in a rich international career.
