Bulgaria's youth national player Tomislav Rusev is a new addition to Metallurg (Pernik) for the club's debut season in WINBET Super Volley.
The 209-centimeter tall middle blocker arrives in Pernik after a season with Cherno More. Prior to that, Rusev gained valuable international experience in Greece, where he played for AONS Milon and Pigasos Polichnis.
In Bulgaria, he has also represented Levski Sofia and Pirin Razlog.

Rusev is an integral part of Bulgaria's youth national teams. In 2024, he won a silver medal with our team at the U20 European Championship.
With his signing, Metallurg adds a significant presence at the net and another promising Bulgarian player to their squad for their historic first participation in the elite league.
