The Argentine Volleyball Federation announced the group of 14 players for the first week of the Volleyball Nations League in Brazil. Bulgaria will face this very squad on June 13 in its third match of the tournament.
The published list does not include captain Agustin Loser, outside hitter Luciano Palonsky, and opposite hitter and former teammate of Alex Nikolov at Lube, Pablo Kukartsev.
From the official announcement of the federation, it became clear that after the end of the first week, Agustin Loser and Pablo Kukartsev will join the national team. For Luciano Palonsky, no information has been provided regarding his potential return to the squad.
It is interesting to note that a large number of the volleyball players in the group already competed against Bulgaria in the friendly matches between the two teams, which took place in Rosario immediately before the start of the Nations League.
