VC Neftochimic 2010 is expanding its activities by launching a women's section within the club. Thus, one of the most successful organizations in Bulgarian men's volleyball will now provide an opportunity for girls in Burgas to develop their talent under the emblem of "the Sheiks."
The Burgas club is among the leading names in Bulgarian volleyball with six men's championship titles, six National Cups, and four Supercups. This new initiative is another step in the development of the club's academy and the expansion of Neftochimic's operations.
Training sessions for girls will commence on June 15, initially forming groups for ages up to 14 and up to 16. If there is sufficient interest, the club plans to establish a group for older players as well.
Ivan Atanasov will lead the women's section and will be responsible for the training and development of the young female volleyball players.
Neftochimic extends an invitation to all girls who love volleyball and wish to develop in an environment with high goals and a professional approach.
With the opening of a women's section, the club takes another step towards establishing itself as an organization that works for the development of volleyball in Burgas and the region, for both boys and girls.
