Four Frenchmen are among the top 10 volleyball players for 2024. In the selection made by the social media team of Volleyball World, France dominates. Yesterday, Trevor Clevenot was announced as player of the year.

Before him, Earvin Ngapeth, opposite Jean Patry, and setter Antoine Brizard were ranked. Given France's results in the Nations League (VNL) and the Olympic Games in Paris, the dominance of "Les Bleus" was expected.
Clevenot was even a candidate for Olympic MVP, but ultimately lost the award to Ngapeth. After France, the country with the most selections on this list is Poland with two athletes. Italy, Japan, USA, and Slovenia each had one player. Brazil remained without a representative.
Among those absent from this annual ranking, the main name is that of libero Jenia Grebennikov, another member of this victorious French generation.
