Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez (47), head coach of the Romanian women's national volleyball team, is the new head coach of Alba Blaj, according to media north of the Danube. The club's previous coach, Italian Marco Musso, was sacked at the end of the year after a loss to Brasov, where three Bulgarians play.
The Spanish specialist, born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, comes to Blaj from Galatasaray Daikin Istanbul (Turkey), where he was a coach since 2023, but left his post at the end of this half-season.

Italian coach Alberto Bigarelli has been appointed in his place with a contract until the end of the season.

In women's volleyball, Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez has also been at the helm of Allianz MTV Stuttgart (Germany), CSM Târgoviște (Romania), Enea PTPS Piła (Poland) and SC Potsdam (Germany). In Germany, he has won the Cup twice and the Supercup twice! At the international level, in addition to the Romanian national team, he has also coached the national team of Greece!
Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez arrives in Romania today and will hold his first team practice tomorrow.
