Bulgaria's U22 men's national team will play two friendly matches against Poland on June 10 and 11. The team, led by Daniel Peev, will depart for Poland on June 9.
The matches will be crucial for finalizing the squad for the European Championship in Portugal, which starts on June 29. Bulgaria was drawn into Group II along with Italy, France, and the Czech Republic, with the matches to be played in Albufeira.
Currently, Peev is working with a group of 16 players. Dimitar Peychinov, who is presently training with the senior men's national team, is expected to join them.
Kristiyan Titriyski's individual program continues due to his later integration into the team's preparation.
There is a problem at the setter position. Due to an injury to the second setter Rangel Vitekov, Ivan Uzunov will travel for the friendly matches in Poland.
It is still unclear whether Yasmin Velichkov will be part of the squad for the Euro 2026 U22, as there is a possibility he might be with the senior men's national team for the second Nations League tournament in Ljubljana.
