The former national coach and current head coach of Lokomotiv (Novosibirsk) Plamen Konstantinov visited the training camp of the Bulgarian men's national team in Samokov. This became clear from photos published today by the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation.
Konstantinov observed the training session along with his former national teammates Daniel Peev, who is the coach of Bulgaria U22, and Andrey Zhekov – assistant coach at Lokomotiv (Novosibirsk) and part of the men's national team's staff.

17 players from the extended squad, which we have already written about, participated in the training. At the end of the session, 16 volleyball players remained for the debriefing, without Dimitar Peychinov. After the men's team departs for Argentina, he will continue preparation with the U22 national team.

A team meeting with the media is scheduled for tomorrow. Journalists will attend a training session of the national players, after which they will have the opportunity to interview the players designated by the federation and the coach Gianlorenzo Blengini.
Bulgaria departs on Wednesday for Argentina, where they will play friendly matches with the hosts before the start of their participation in the Volleyball Nations League. After the friendly matches, the team will travel to the city of Brazil, where they will participate in the first VNL tournament.
Bulgaria's opponents there will be Belgium, Iran, Argentina, and Serbia. The final squad of 14 players will likely become clear before the team's departure.
