Sir Susa Vim Perugia achieved their goal by securing the last available spot in the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Final Four, where they will face Rana Verona in the semi-final. On Monday evening at Pala Evangelisti, Perugia, who had the home court advantage due to their better ranking at the end of the first round of the regular season, repeated their 3-0 victory from the league match played just four days prior. They once again prevailed over coach Alberto Giuliani's Valsa Group Modena in 3 sets.
For President Gino Sirci's club, this marks their 11th Final Four appearance, or 12th if their participation in Serie A2 is included. The MVP of the match was the home team's opposite hitter, Wassim Ben Tara, who finished the game with 11 points, 3 blocks, and 67% attack efficiency.

Before the match, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the great Daniele Bagnoli, a coach who won everything with Modena.
Valsa Group started the match with a starting six: captain De Cecco as setter, Buchegger as opposite, Davyskiba-Gutierrez as outside hitters, Matti-Sanguinetti as middle blockers, and Federici as libero.
Perugia responded with a lineup: Giannelli-Ben Tara as setter-opposite, Ishikawa-Plotnytskyi as outside hitters, Loser and Solè as middle blockers, and Colaci as libero.
Modena started the match strongly, with De Cecco relying on the middle blockers and pipe attacks. The two teams displayed good volleyball, playing point for point until 16-17. Then Perugia changed the tempo and took a 23:20 lead, closing the set 25:20 after an exceptional serving run by Plotnytskyi.
In the second set, Modena took a 5-3 lead, demonstrating good defense. The visitors extended their lead to 10-8 after Davyskiba's third ace of the set. Modena continued to press, pulling ahead to 22-20. As in the first set, Perugia changed their rhythm, equalized, and won the set 27:25.
In the third set, Perugia took an early 20:15 lead. Modena managed to close the gap to 21:18, but Perugia won the set 25-22 and thus the match.
