On Sunday, during the 15th day of the Saforelle Power 6 women's league, the match between the new leaderVandoeuvre NancyandMarcq en Baroeulset a new attendance record for a match under the auspices of the French LNV. With their 3-0 victory (25:21, 25:23, 25:12) over Marcq en Baroeul, the team from the Duchy of Lorraine climbed to the top of the standings, surpassing Nantes and Mulhouse. They achieved this victory in front of 5698 spectators, which is a record attendance for an LNV National League match.

The LNV organization, founded in 1987 (under the name Promotional Volleyball League) and renamed in 1999, includes three championships: Marmara SpikeLigue (men, League A), Saforelle Power 6 (women), and the men's B league. To achieve this record, the Vandoeuvre club moved the match to the Jean Weille sports complex in Nancy, which has 6000 seats.

The previous record was 5200 spectators. It was set in the Marmara SpikeLigue during Earvin Ngapeth's farewell match in Poitiers. Playing at home, the Poitiers team defeated Tours 3-2.
Thus, women's volleyball continues the tradition of their matches registering attendance records. This year, the champions from Pennsylvania did so, winning the US championship trophy in front of 21,860 spectators, and their colleagues from Italy set a record in the match between Milan and Conegliano with 12,562 visitors. The world record for attendance at a sport involving women is again in volleyball - set in 2023 at a volleyball match in Lincoln, Nebraska, where 92,003 spectators were recorded.
