Iva Dudova was officially presented at Eczacıbaşı

The news, which had been an open secret for three months, now has official confirmation. Turkish powerhouse Eczacıbaşı Dynavit has signed Bulgarian volleyball player Iva Dudova. The news was announced by the club, which continues its selection for the new season by attracting one of Bulgaria's most promising young athletes.
The club also published a statement from club manager Bilun Yılmaz, who emphasized the expectations for the Bulgarian opposite hitter:

We are happy to have signed a young player whom we have been following for a long time and whose potential we believe in. We believe that Iva will have excellent conditions to showcase her qualities, continue her development, and add value to the team. With proper work discipline and our club culture, we are convinced that she will reach an even higher level in the coming years.

19-year-old Dudova plays as an opposite hitter. The Bulgarian stands 198 centimeters tall and joins Eczacıbaşı after strong seasons with Maritsa (Plovdiv), with whom she won titles and the Bulgarian Cup, as well as gaining significant experience in the Champions League.
The young national team player made an impression early in her career with her powerful attack and excellent physical attributes. At the U16 European Championship in 2021, she was named "Best Opposite Hitter" and was also among the tournament's top scorers.
In 2025, Dudova was among Bulgaria's leading scorers at the U21 World Championship, where she once again solidified her reputation as one of the most promising Bulgarian volleyball players.
The transfer to Eczacıbaşı is a significant step forward in Iva Dudova's career. The Turkish club is among the leading teams in Europe and traditionally competes for trophies in the domestic league and the Champions League.
