Andrea Giani extended his contract with ZAKSA

Andrea Giani, a world volleyball legend and coach of the current Olympic champions, will lead the ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle team for the next two seasons.

Andrea Giani has established himself as a coach with a perfect understanding of the game, with the ability to build a team and develop players' potential. His experience, passion, and constant pursuit of excellence bring results in the form of successes. In his coaching career, he has led club and national teams, winning championship titles and medals in prestigious competitions, including the Olympic title.

The Italian specialist joined ZAKSA before the start of the 2024/2025 season, quickly gaining the trust of the team and fans. Giani has repeatedly emphasized how good he feels in Poland, stating his desire to stay in the country for a longer period. The best confirmation of the coach's words is the extension of cooperation with ZAKSA for another two seasons.

The importance of continuing cooperation with the coach is emphasized by the club's president - Jadwiga Cichoń:

After 17 rounds in PlusLiga under Giani's leadership, ZAKSA ranks fifth in the standings.
