National player Georgi Tatarov continues his strong performances for Grottazzolina, being the top scorer for his team in their 2:3 away loss to Radostin Stoychev's Verona. The SuperLega newcomer was on the verge of a complete comeback, after overcoming a 0:2 deficit in sets and forcing the match into a tie-break, but a lack of experience and partly luck proved decisive for the negative outcome in the final set.

Tatarov finished with 19 points (3 blocks), with three more of his teammates also reaching double digits, but this was not enough to secure their third victory of the championship.

Keita was once again outstanding with 20 points (2 blocks, 3 aces), while Slovenian Rok Možič added another 18 for the win.
With this loss, Grottazzolina is once again anchored at the bottom of the standings with two victories. Verona, on the other hand, overtook Lube and is now fourth.
