The Greek powerhouse officially brought back Giuliani to lead the men's team with a 2+1 year contract, and among the new additions to the squad will be the Bulgarian international Martin Atanasov.
For Bulgarian fans, Giuliani is a well-known name. The Italian coached Hebar (Pazardzhik) during the 2023/24 season, and now he will work with a Bulgarian volleyball player again, this time at one of the biggest clubs in Greece.
Olympiacos already has a rich history with Bulgarian players, as Plamen Konstantinov, Boyan Yordanov, Andrey Zhekov, Hristo Tsvetanov, and Nikolay Zhelyazkov have all played for the club over the years.

With the signing of Martin Atanasov, the Greek champion adds more quality to its reception and attack, and the combination between the Bulgarian international and experienced coach Alberto Giuliani appears to be one of the interesting partnerships of the upcoming season.
