Tomasz Fornal's team twice came back from a deficit in the sets, and in the tie-break, they established full control. This is a historic medal for the Turkish club.
The top scorer for Ziraat was Nimir Abdel-Aziz with 36 points, while Fornal added 14, including a crucial ace at the end of the match. For Projekt Warszawa, Kevin Tillie scored 26 points, and Bartosz Gomulka finished with 23.
Projekt dominated emphatically in the third set, winning it 25:13, but the Turkish team showed stronger nerves in crucial moments and managed to turn the game around.
