Rana Verona, led by Radostin Stoychev, defeated Cisterna Volley 0-3 (23:25, 18:25, 23:25) as a guest, demonstrating excellent resilience after the news of Zavoronok's injury, which forced him to end the season prematurely. Guillermo Falasca's team was hindered by errors against an opponent who was more effective in attack and serving. The match concluded after more than an hour and a half, with Cisterna losing the first and last sets 23-25.
With excellent performances from the duo Keita (17 points) and Mozic (14 points MVP), the Venetian team confirmed its desire to remain among the leading teams in the Italian elite. Cisterna, on the other hand, looked far from the team that finished the first phase with four consecutive victories.
With this victory, Radostin Stoychev's boys now have 25 points and are fourth in the standings, while Cisterna remains with 15 points, still in contention for the playoffs. For the Pontina team, the next challenge will be a difficult away game in Piacenza on Thursday, December 26.

Before the match, Michele Baranowicz, Cisterna's captain, received the MVP Credem Banca award for November, an honor that excited the home crowd but was not enough for the victory.

Head coach Falasca opted for the starting lineup: Baranowicz as setter with Faure opposite, Nedeljkovic and Diamantini as middle blockers, Bayram and Ramon as outside hitters, and Pace as libero. On the other side, Rana Verona, without the injured Donovan Dza voronok, started with Abaev as setter, Keita opposite, Vitelli and Zingel as middle blockers, Mozic and Sani as outside hitters, D'Amico as libero.
After the match, Cisterna's Spanish coach shared his disappointment: "Today against Rana Verona, our performance was not good enough; we paid the price for errors in attack, and against a team of this caliber, it made things difficult for us. We lack those details that would allow us to make a difference against top-ranked teams, especially consistency in the fundamental elements, which was clearly missing today. Now we must not forget the good we achieved in the last two months; we immediately have the match against Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza ahead of us."

Stoychev: "The match was very complex, and I dedicate this victory to Dza voronok, because this year he was an important player and a positive figure; today the first set was important, decided by small details. In the second, Mozic made the difference to pull away and close the set without problems. The third was quite calm, then they got back into the game, but we handled it well and managed to close the match. The work we are doing in defense is evident, but there is still room for improvement. These are three important points that allow us to approach the next match more calmly." On December 26, Verona will host Georgi Tatarov and Grottazolina.
