Former Neftohimik's second setter, Stiliyan Asenov, debuted today for Slavia. This happened during the quarter-final match for the Bulgarian Cup between 'the Whites' and the Metallurg Pernik team. The departure of the experienced player, a native of Pernik, was necessitated by the recruitment of Georgi Bratoev to Neftohimik's ranks. The agreement is for Asenov to stay until the end of the season, after which he will continue his career in the 'Panayot Pondalov' hall as a youth coach. Meanwhile, Asenov will complete his education at the NSA, where he is in his fourth year.
