Levski attracted the setter Anton Stanchev

Bulgarian champions Levski continue their active selection process for the new season, after officially announcing the signing of setter Anton Stanchev. The volleyball player arrives at the capital's grand club from Lokomotiv Avia and will be part of Nikolay Zhelyazkov's squad in the upcoming campaign. This new addition comes in response to Stoil Palev's departure.
Stanchev did not hide his satisfaction with the transfer and emphasized that he sees Levski as the best opportunity for the next step in his development.

"I am glad to have the opportunity to be part of this club! Levski is the right place and the perfect next step in my development. This is a club where a championship mentality is built and I am sure that next season the team will continue to fight only for first place!" commented the new addition to the 'Blues'.

Head coach Nikolay Zhelyazkov also expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the young setter and emphasized his potential.

"Anton is a player with great potential, and I am very glad that we will have the opportunity to work with him and develop his qualities to the next level," stated the champions' coach.

With Stanchev's signing, Levski continues its strategy of combining proven players with promising Bulgarian talents. The expectations are for the young setter to bring additional competition and versatility to this key position in the 'Blues'' squad.
After winning the title last season, the capital club's ambitions remain unchanged - defending the championship trophy and a strong performance in European club tournaments.
