Zenit Kazan and Kuzbass Kemerovo will play a match today from the 18th round of the Russian championship at the Volleyball Center without an audience. This decision was made by the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. For security reasons, over the next two days - Saturday and Sunday - all mass events in Kazan have been cancelled. "In connection with the cancellation of mass events in the Republic of Tatarstan on December 21-22, today's match against Kuzbass Kemerovo will be held without spectators," the club's announcement states. The reason is that this morning, drones of the Ukrainian armed forces attacked targets in Kazan. "Eight hits were recorded. Of these, one in an industrial enterprise, one over the river, and six in a residential area. According to information at this moment, there are no dead or injured," reported Minnikhanov's press service. Earlier, a match from the Russian women's volleyball championship between Dinamo-Ak Bars and Leningradka, which was supposed to take place in Kazan on December 22, was cancelled. The stage of the Russian snow volleyball championship, which started yesterday in the capital of Tatarstan, has also been cancelled.
